Bulgartabac Holding Group

Bulgartabac is a major cigarette producer in East Europe and one of the world's major tobacco producers. Included in the company's business is the full production cycle: production of cigarettes and tobacco products, distribution and sale.

Cigarettes production business has over 100 years of history in Bulgaria, the larger part of it being related to Bulgartabac. The company was established in 1947 and it has been a holding company since 1993. The company operates nine enterprises on Bulgarian territory (Sofia, Plovdiv, Blagoevgrad, etc.) and five plants on the territory of Russia, Ukraine and Romania, all producing the Bulgartabac brand products.

Various blends: American, European, Virginia and Eastern are used in cigarette production. The holding company has developed and launched on the Bulgarian and international market more than 50 brands, the majority being grouped in families characterised by blend and nicotine and tar smoke contents.

The production and packing departments are equipped with latest machines and technology.
